Good morning and welcome back!

We hope you enjoyed last week and your weekend. During this week's unit on the Supreme Court we will be taking a look at various aspects related to the high court as well as giving each of you time to explore topics and cases related to your interests. Our objectives for today are:
1. To revisit vision of 21st Century Classroom.
2. To develop our virtual notebooks with further thoughts and responses to others' posts.
3. To enhance our technology skills related to use of wikispaces and wikispaces widgets, and delicious (its an online social researching tool).
4. To preview the unit on the Supreme Court by activating prior knowledge, asking questions, and acquiring new information.

Here's a look at today's agenda:

9:00-10:00 am:

1. After one week in this program and your other ideas, revisit brainstorming of 21st Century Classroom vision - use Slide

In wikispace widgets - copy URLs or save images to documents then upload - once you upload it to your wiki notebook you should summarize your choices below. Then share that thinking verbally with classmates at table, as a group choose one as a model to share with the class on the board with thinking behind choices!

2. Take time to add to your virtual notebook home page and classmates' wikis page - announce contest for best virtual notebook - creativity, design, AND, most importantly, thinking!

A. Continue to individualize it and play around with available resources (widget features like RSS feed, etc, web cam, websites, etc)
B. Make sure your page of Classmates' Wikis has at least 15 links(hopefully everyone who has been in the room with you)
C. Take time to edit and enhance your postings so far, respond to others', visit classmates' wikis, etc...
